Crystal Laurent was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She is the youngest of four children and has always had a passion for reading and writing novels. At an early age, she knew she could make an impact on her peers and the area in which she grew up. She just needed the right opportunity, the right circumstance, and the right atmosphere.
With her drive and determination to succeed, Crystal earned a Master's Degree in Information Assurance, attained several certifications in healthcare IT, started an IT Consulting and healthcare career training program, and she created a lane for herself on her terms. With over 10 years in the medical profession, she has acquired a vast knowledge of all aspects of Revenue Cycle and Clinical acumen. Her analytical skills were key in her ability to hone in on a market to help young women overcome and succeed in business and in life.
Crystal Laurent’s writings has the ability to draw you into the landscape of the story. The passionate and transparent nature of the storylines are almost cathartic in nature. She considers her writing to be therapeutic, stress relieving and healing to the reader. She gives a voice to those that may feel like they are not able to speak by exploring sensitive yet real life scenarios.
